Missions
As a church, Ambassador partners with organisations and missionaries beyond Hong Kong to proclaim the good news.
“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?” Romans 10:14
We believe that it is primarily through hearing God’s Word that people come to know Christ and put their faith in him. We support ministries that focus on explaining the Bible and prioritise evangelism and the gospel.
To sustain the Church, it is also important to train up and equip faithful Bible teachers to be the next generation of leaders. This could take the form of Bible college education, training for existing pastors and production of Christian literature.
Given Ambassador’s location, we also have a particular focus on Asia, a populous continent where many are hungry for the gospel. Our mission partners include those working in the Philippines, Thailand, China and other parts of East Asia.
Lastly, many of our mission partners have personal connection with Ambassador. Some of the ministries we support were set up by people who attended our church when they lived in Hong Kong or are run by current members.
